If you are having trouble installing or using our Kodak remanufactured inkjet cartridges, please follow the troubleshooting tips below. If these tips do not help resolve your problem, please read the process below for filing a warranty claim:
Reset the printer: (1) remove ALL cartridges, (2) turn the printer off, (3)unplug the printer and wait a minute or two, (4) plug the printer back in, (5)turn the printer on and let it power up, and (6) install the cartridges, one at a time.
To clean the print head, blot with a damp paper towel until ink flow is visible and return the cartridge back to its slot in the printer. Perform a printerís print head cleaning cycle up to 3 times. This option can be found as a menu option on your printer or on the printerís software on the computer. Print 2-3 test pages to insure proper ink flow.
The contacts on the cartridge may be dirty. Gently clean the contacts on the cartridge with a cotton swab and a drop of alcohol, or general purpose cleaner, in a circular motion. Once it dries, re-insert cartridge in the printer and begin installation.
For Canon printers, turn off the printer and turn it on again. When you try and print an error will appear, when this happens hold the stop/reset button and wait until the printer resumes printing. Once printing has begun release the button.
